Each base is different but generally for timber / composite joists you need approximately 0.7 - 0.9 screws per m2 based on spans of 1.5m between screws/posts.
For example, a decking area 8m x 5m (40m2) requires 35 screws. This is calculated with a maximum joist span of 1.5m, which equates to 7 rows of 5 screws.

What do I need for my Ground Screw install?
1. 450mm Pilot SDS Pilot bit
2. Either 550mm or 750mm Ground Screw (depending on flat / sloping ground)
3. Bracket for mounting on top of ground screw. Standard, Premium or Double joist
4. Professional ratchet tool (please contact us about hiring one if required)
